Compare the estate oil with citrus-processed products

Biolea describes exclusively estate-produced and bottled oil from the Dimitriadis family’s Koroneiki groves, processed with stone mills and modernized presses. Its product page describes the plain estate oil separately from Nerantzio, made with whole bitter oranges, and Lemonio, made with whole organic lemons. Ask for the exact bottle’s origin and organic certification; the citrus products are not interchangeable with plain extra-virgin oil.

Book the intended tour and shop visit

The classic tour lists one hour, from €7/adult, children up to 13 free, and appointments 10:00–17:00. The homepage gives April–October for classic tours. The four-oil tasting includes estate Koroneiki, Pamako mountain Tsounati, Lemonio and Nerantzio; a film explains winter production. The separate supplier experience lists a retail shop, but its duration, price and lunch terms are not the classic-tour ticket. Confirm shop access, stock, date and the exact tour; live milling is not guaranteed.

Keep restaurant and kafeneion plans separate

The restaurant offers chef’s pairing menus and gastronomic experiences based on seasonal Cretan ingredients; dietary requirements and allergies need advance discussion. The kafeneion offers a limited meze menu, specialty coffee, homemade drinks, cocktails and local wines on a first-come basis. The current restaurant page displays both 10:00–17:00 and 11:00–15:30 for Tuesday–Sunday, so confirm the service you want rather than treating either as a verified all-service timetable.

Planning questions

Will I see live oil extraction during every tasting?

No. The classic tour includes a winter-production film. Confirm whether the mill is actually running on your date.

Is the restaurant included in the basic tour?

A chef’s menu or another meal experience is a separate booking. Confirm its price, inclusions, dietary arrangements and service hours.
