Choose opera as the centre of the trip

The festival’s 2026 retrospective records five opera productions, including a world premiere, two operas in concert and sixteen concerts. Those different formats show why a visitor should compare the actual production rather than treat every ticket as the same kind of evening.

Aix en juin added related musical events in the completed edition. That wider activity is part of the festival’s musical purpose, but its next programme and admission arrangements need their own announcements.

Plan around the explicit 2027 announcement

The current homepage announces 1–20 July 2027 and says the programme will be unveiled soon. Use this announced period for initial planning. The 2026 retrospective describes a completed season; its performers and works are not a future cast list.

Choose the work, venue and seat together

When productions are released, compare staged opera, opera in concert and other concerts by the experience you want. Read the performance’s venue, language or surtitles and accessibility information before choosing a seat. A general festival date range does not establish the date of a particular work.

Keep accommodation and performance tickets as separate purchases. A festival announcement establishes a planning window, while the selected event’s sale opening, category, concession and cancellation conditions determine the booking.
