Choose photography and time to explore
The festival’s focus is photography and contemporary visual culture, with exhibitions distributed across Arles. That format suits visitors who want several exhibition visits rather than a single seated performance. Opening-week activity and a later-season visit offer different ways to organise the trip.

Use the announced 2027 calendar
The organiser announces opening week on 5–11 July 2027 and exhibitions on 5 July–3 October 2027. The 57th edition’s 2026 ticketing page says that edition is over. The future season dates establish a planning window, while individual exhibition openings, events and ticket availability still belong to the 2027 programme.

Match a pass to the visit
The 2026 ticket information distinguished an all-exhibitions pass from a day pass activated on first entry and valid that day. Ordinary passes generally allowed one entry per exhibition site; professional opening-week badges had different re-entry rights. These are 2026 conditions, not a promise about a 2027 pass.
Night events, single-venue tickets and workshop registrations were separate products. Check the next edition’s inclusions, re-entry rules, concession proof and venue accessibility rather than assuming that one pass covers every festival activity.

Planning questions
When are the announced 2027 exhibitions?
From 5 July to 3 October 2027. Opening week is announced for 5–11 July.
Does an exhibition pass include a workshop or every evening event?
Do not assume so. The 2026 ticket system separated these products; use the 2027 ticket’s stated inclusions and registration terms.
