Use the office and car park as separate locations

Follow the rental signs from T1 arrivals to floor −1. Locauto places the parking under the Sheraton, about a five-minute walk from the offices. Its return route follows the airport rental signs and then Locauto’s signs.

For a T2 arrival, the branch describes the free inter-terminal shuttle to T1. Smart Check-in is listed for this station; complete the operator’s required booking and document steps rather than treating it as a substitute for eligibility checks.

Compare car and van guarantees correctly

The current FAQ says cars have no security deposit but require a €0.01 pre-authorisation to register the credit card. Vans require €500, reduced to €100 when the specified Super SecurVan waiver is purchased. These are guarantee amounts, separate from rental charges and damage responsibility.

The debit-card FAQ permits named Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Union Pay debit cards except groups L and T, which require credit. A separate pickup answer still asks for a physical credit card. Obtain confirmation for the exact card and group rather than relying on a general no-deposit headline.

Match licence tenure, cancellation and duration

The current FAQ distinguishes a licence held at least one year for Mini from at least three years for the listed Economy, Compact, Wagon, SUV and larger passenger categories, with group exceptions in the special terms. It is not one universal licence-tenure rule.

Locauto’s direct-booking FAQ lists free cancellation more than 48 hours before collection and a €50 fee within that window; changes can reprice the rental. Its business also offers medium and long rentals, but car, van and extended-duration terms need their own agreement. For a delayed flight, supply the flight number and contact the office; the published after-hours waiting service has a fee and a limit.

Planning questions

Does no car deposit mean no responsibility for damage?

No. The published €0.01 registration authorisation is separate from the rental charges, damage liability and protection terms.

Can a newly licensed driver choose any category?

No. The current FAQ lists one year for Mini and three years for several other passenger categories; check the booked group’s exceptions and age requirement.
