Browse makers and vintage with an item in mind
The city tourism description highlights young creatives and artisans from around the world alongside vintage and design. Look for the exhibitor whose work fits the recipient: an accessory, garment, design object or vintage piece can have very different making origins and care needs. A stall in Rome is not proof of Roman manufacture.

Find the right market and date
Use Via Leonina 46 for Mercato Monti. The similarly named Via Baccina market is a different food-market destination. Turismo Roma describes Saturday/Sunday operation except July and August, but confirm the intended date with the organiser. The current own homepage gives info@mercatomonti.com; its July artwork does not establish today’s opening or a forthcoming date.

Keep the exhibitor contact for a later purchase
Ask the maker or seller for a business card, catalogue or own order route, plus the chosen item’s material, maker, making origin and condition. Agree the price, packing, dispatch and destination terms directly. No collective self-service online shop, uniform returns policy or shipping contract for every exhibitor was established.
