Equipment, classes and membership tiers

PureGym is a useful first comparison for readers who primarily need gym equipment and classes. Off-peak restricts entry to the chosen gym's quieter hours; Core supplies normal branch access; Plus adds qualifying other gyms. Most branches open around the clock, but the local opening schedule and your tier both matter. Its short passes also give an occasional visitor an alternative to recurring membership.

Off-peak and Core have an eight-day class booking window; Plus advertises fourteen days, four guest visits per month and up to three months of free freezing. Use Off-peak only if both entry and class times fit your permitted hours.

Short visits and prepaid membership

Yes. PureGym sells passes for 1, 3, 7 or 30 consecutive calendar days at a chosen gym. Each day ends at midnight, so a one-day pass is not a rolling 24-hour ticket. Price varies by gym. Classes can be booked for the same day if spaces remain.

The separately sold prepaid six-, nine- and twelve-month memberships expire without automatic renewal. The terms allow early cancellation with a refund of 50% of the unused prorated fees. Commit & Save and other products have their own purchase terms; do not apply the flexible-monthly rule to them.

Cancellation and the access process

Flexible monthly cancellation through the online service or the bank needs four working days before payment; membership then ends the day before the next payment is due.

Selecting disabled access at joining puts membership on hold until you arrange the mandatory induction with the home gym manager. That process covers access needs and any required Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan. If membership is taken off hold before a required PEEP is marked complete, access hours remain restricted and are communicated by email. It describes the access process; it does not establish the physical suitability of every branch.

This is the national operator profile. The Leeds registered office is not a branch recommendation or a place to attend for a workout. Choose the actual home gym for facilities, opening times and entry arrangements.

Planning questions

Does Plus give unrestricted access to every PureGym?

No. Its additional full-price gyms must be at the same membership price as, or below, the home gym. Compare the actual locations you need.

Does a one-day pass last a full twenty-four hours?

No. It ends at midnight on the selected date, so buying late in the day leaves a shorter visit window.

Can I enter immediately after selecting disabled access?

The membership is held until you arrange the mandatory induction with the home gym manager. Complete that process and any required PEEP before expecting normal access.
