Compare the basket after discounts and the actual window

Home delivery has a £25 minimum after multibuy offers, promotions and Nectar Price discounts. For next-day delivery, baskets under £50 cost £7.50; over £50 costs £1–£5.50 depending on slot. Same-day delivery is £9.50 below £50 and £6–£7.50 above it. The pay-per-slot wording does not clearly define exactly £50: use the actual quote.

Standard delivery windows are one hour. Saver slots last four hours or more, with a more precise one-hour notification on delivery day. Product prices are estimates until selection on delivery day, and weighed goods or replacements can change the final total.

Collection and urgent services have their own rules

Click & Collect has no minimum. Next-day collection starts from 50p; below £25 the main help says an additional £4 surcharge, while later FAQ/terms wording calls it a £4 charge. Confirm the final total rather than silently choosing one reading. Same-day collection is £2 for £50 or more and £6 below £50, where available. A Delivery Pass does not make collection free.

Same-day orders/amendments close at noon, with collection from 16:00 and delivery from 17:00 where available. Chop Chop is separate: up to 30 items, £15 minimum, £4.99 delivery and an advertised 60-minute service in eligible areas. Check the live estimate and actual product selection.

Subscription, changes and substitution preferences

Anytime Delivery Pass is £7.50 monthly, £43 six-monthly or £80 annually; Midweek is £4 monthly or £50 annually for Tuesday–Thursday. Both require £50 or more after applicable discounts and include one eligible delivery per day, subject to slots. Compare the actual recurring plan terms and qualifying visits rather than treating a pass as every charge waived.

Ordinary next-day orders can be amended until 23:00 the previous day, with checkout again required. Occasions products have earlier preparation-related deadlines; follow the actual order. You can turn substitutes off for individual or all items and reject replacements on arrival; accepted alternatives may cost differently and need their own ingredient/allergen check. Online-grocery help is 0800 328 1700.

Planning questions

Does a Delivery Pass cover a £25 delivery or collection?

The delivery benefit requires £50 or more after the named discounts and eligible days. It does not make Click & Collect free.

Can accepted substitutions cost more or contain different ingredients?

Yes. Terms say substitutes may have different prices, nutrition and allergens. You can turn them off or reject them on arrival.

Can I use the 11 pm deadline for a same-day or Occasions order?

No. Same-day orders have a noon cutoff, and Occasions items can have earlier preparation-related deadlines. Follow the exact order.
