A narrated route through central Rome

The Rome City Walking Tour runs from Piazza del Popolo towards the Colosseum. Its 21 historical points include the Mausoleum of Augustus, Ara Pacis, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the columns of Marcus Aurelius and Trajan, and the ancient marketplace area. The publisher estimates about three hours; that is a route estimate rather than a fixed live-guide appointment or a promise about time inside attractions.

The wider Rome catalogue offers separate Ancient Rome, Pantheon and Vatican/St Peter’s audio products, including English and Italian versions. Choose the actual route, language and inclusion list for the intended walk. TouringBee also publishes audio tours for other cities; the Rome selection is part of that wider app.

Download the content before using it offline

The app’s developer descriptions advertise GPS and an interactive map, with stories triggered by location and controls to pause, replay or change the pace. The selected tour’s data must be downloaded before offline use. Prepare a compatible charged smartphone and headphones; installation alone does not establish that a paid tour is unlocked or its content has downloaded.

Tour duration is an estimate. Road access, opening hours and movement between stops can change, while pauses and separate attraction visits add time. Use the current local store requirements and prepare the chosen content before setting out, especially when relying on offline listening.

Free installation and paid tour access are different

The English Rome City Walking Tour product page lists €9.99. The publisher’s terms define the purchase quantity as the number of mobile devices that receive digital-content access, for personal use. Check the selected product, language, device count and channel before buying; choose the required device access separately from any attraction tickets.

The published terms and Apple description provide one year of tour access from the purchase date. The Apple listing also mentions an optional annual subscription. A standalone tour, a subscription and a third-party retailer’s product have different purchase arrangements; use the terms shown for the chosen offer rather than assuming lifetime access or identical conditions across channels.

Use the current platform and guest conditions

When reviewed, the Apple listing required iOS 16.0 or later and Google Play’s public app information required Android 8.0 or later. Store availability, compatibility and content age ratings depend on the current local listing. Those store labels are separate from the publisher’s purchase terms, which require purchasers to be 18 or over and children to use the app under direct adult supervision.

The publisher FAQ says its Apple in-app purchases cannot be shared through Family Sharing. That is the publisher’s stated product condition, not a rule being asserted for all Apple apps. A free app or a platform family-library label does not by itself establish that several devices receive this paid tour. The audio content does not establish attraction entry or a live guide; arrange any required admission separately.

Activation and support depend on the purchase channel

The terms say website or partner purchases are followed by activation instructions, supplied by email or through a booking-reference page. The current published booking route opens a “Find your booking” reference-search form. The older activation-instructions link in Help was unavailable when reviewed, so use the current booking route or support for the actual purchase.

The published support email is support@touringbee.com. The FAQ provides restore-purchase and troubleshooting steps and says support may help with a problem or perform a refund; it does not establish an unconditional refund for every purchase. The terms describe complaint reporting within 14 calendar days after a reason arises and a response within 14 days. Those complaint periods are not a general cancellation or automatic-refund promise, and purchases through third-party retailers have their own sale terms.
