Editorial place profile

Villa Necchi Campiglio

Villa Necchi Campiglio at Via Mozart 14 was built in 1932–1935 to Piero Portaluppi’s design, according to FAI. Its house, interiors and garden offer a different scale from Milan’s towers and monumental churches. FAI publishes visits Wednesday–Sunday 10:00–18:00, with last entry 17:00, and a downloadable audio guide requiring your own earphones. Its English visitor page describes a ramp and lift for mobility access, while warning that the villa has no air-conditioning system. Check special closures and the particular ticket or guided visit you want.
