Top 10 Restaurants in Sharjah (2026)
Which Sharjah restaurant should you choose?
For Emirati breakfast and tea, choose Arabian Tea House at Souq Al Shanasiyah; for a heritage meal with separate tea and private formats, start with Bait Elowal. Berenjak suits Persian kababs and sharing dishes, while Nomani offers Japanese and Korean cooking. Mahrosah, 71 Steak & Grill, Al Dente, Bait Al Mandi, Fen at Al Mureijah and Black Salt at Muwaileh complete the ten choices, covering Aleppo-style meals, wood-fire grilling, Italian food, rice dishes, an art-foundation café and a grillhouse dinner. Choose by food and location, then use the exact branch’s current menu and service information.

How to use this shortlist
These ten Sharjah dining choices are grouped by cuisine, setting and meal format. Marasea and Kashtat Amina appear separately as status updates outside the ten: Sheraton marks Marasea temporarily closed, and the exact Kashtat Amina map listing is marked permanently closed. Published AED prices are dated menu examples, not complete party bills. The cover is an editorial illustration.

For Emirati breakfast and heritage or art settings
-
Bait Elowal
A heritage setting for à la carte, tea or a private meal
Choose Bait Elowal for regional dishes in the Heart of Sharjah, with an ordinary à la carte meal, afternoon tea and private dining kept distinct.
The à la carte menu includes borani-e esfenaj, mast-o-khiar, lamb shank and saffron ferni. Daily afternoon tea runs 14:00–18:00; the Al Atlas private supper club is a different booking. The contact page lists daily opening 08:00–22:00.

-
Arabian Tea House Sharjah
Emirati breakfast trays, tea and sweets
Start with the Souq Al Shanasiyah branch for Emirati breakfast, tea or a broader meal. Daily opening is published as 07:00–23:00; the branch number is +971 54 994 6323.
At Souq Al Shanasiyah, the Sharjah menu lists a special Emirati breakfast tray at AED 87, with balaleet, accompaniments and traditional breads. Vegetable sambosa is AED 34; luqaimat, khabisah and karak tea are AED 30 each. Machboos and seafood sit in separate meal categories.
-
Fen Café & Restaurant — Al Mureijah
A casual café or restaurant stop around Sharjah Art Foundation
Fen at Al Mureijah is the café-and-restaurant choice around a Sharjah Art Foundation visit. The foundation currently directs visitors to Fen for coffee and snacks; Fen’s own website names the Al Mureijah address and +971 6 561 3029. A 2017 official visitor guide described sandwiches, salads and grills at this restaurant, but those older dishes and prices do not establish its current full meal menu.
The exact map listing gives Saturday–Thursday 08:00–23:00 and Friday 15:00–23:00. These are listed restaurant hours, separate from gallery hours and the kitchen’s meal-service window. Ask this branch for the current food menu; other Fen locations, including Al Manakh and Khorfakkan, have their own offerings.

For Persian or Japanese-Korean food
-
Berenjak Sharjah
Persian kababs and sharing dishes at Aljada
Berenjak is the Persian sharing-meal choice at Misk 4 in Aljada. Select its Sharjah menu rather than a London menu or voucher; a dish price is separate from the full table bill.
The Sharjah food menu lists koobideh and jujeh kababs, kashk e bademjoon, mast o khiar and breads. Koobideh is AED 98 and mast o khiar AED 35. Set lunch and feast are separate menus. The food PDF says card payments only and asks guests to notify staff about allergies.
The contact page names Misk 4, Aljada, Muwaileh Commercial and info@berenjakuae.com. Its Friday–Saturday line has an apparent noon/12:30 pm ambiguity, so use the branch’s booking information for that session.

-
Nomani
Japanese and Korean food in the heritage district
Nomani suits Japanese and Korean dining in the heritage district. Its restaurant number and the hotel switchboard are separate contacts; hotel facilities are separate from a restaurant meal.
The hotel’s current dining collection describes Japanese and Korean cooking, including sushi, sashimi, Korean barbecue and ramen. Visit Sharjah places Nomani at Chedi Al Bait facing the Creek harbour and publishes the restaurant number +971 6 502 5575.
The current Nomani page links food and beverage menus. Its hotel footer gives Heart of Sharjah, Al Mareija, and the general hotel number +971 6 502 5555. Restaurant service times and the selected menu need current booking information.

For grills, Italian food, Aleppo meals or mandi
-
Mahrosah Restaurant & Sweets
Aleppo-style meals, grills and sweets at Al Khan
Mahrosah is a useful Al Khan choice for a casual meal followed by Arabic sweets.
The operator describes Aleppo-influenced cooking, with kebbeh, shawarma and fatteh, plus kunafa and Arabic sweets. Published hours are Sunday–Wednesday 08:00–01:00 and Thursday–Saturday 08:00–01:30; the closing times fall after midnight.
-
71 Steak & Grill Sharjah
Wood-fire steak and grill dining at Al Zahia
Choose the Al Zahia restaurant for wood-fire grilling, with its home-cooking shop kept separate from the served meal.
The operator locates the restaurant at Zahia CityCentre, second floor, cinema entrance and Parking B, and describes wood-fire grilling. Its separate shop sells steaks, burger boxes, rubs and sauces; a home-cooking kit is not a served restaurant meal. Ask for the current dine-in cuts, portions and prices.

-
Al Dente
Italian pizza and pasta at Coral Beach Resort
Al Dente offers an Italian-food choice at Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, with pizza, pasta and a wider meat-and-seafood menu.
The hotel describes Italian specialities using seasonal products. Its linked menu includes pasta, meat and seafood mains, individual pizzas and a family-size pizza with three toppings of the diner’s choice. A family pizza is not a fixed topping bundle.
The linked PDF marks chicken Caesar and beef carpaccio with vegetarian symbols. The written meat ingredients take precedence over treating those symbols as reliable dietary advice; obtain the restaurant’s preparation answer for your order.

Bait Al Mandi Restaurant Sharjah
Mandi and rice dishes with the Sharjah branches kept distinct
For mandi and rice dishes, select Al Khan, Al Qasimia or Al Nahda before planning the meal.
The operator lists Al Khan at +971 6 528 1798, Al Qasimia at +971 6 577 1156, and Al Nahda at +971 6 537 9633. Each outlet has its own contact and service arrangements.
The linked Sharjah menu lists mutton mandi and mutton madghout at AED 55 each. These are menu examples; ask the selected outlet about portions, dish availability, complete charges and dine-in, takeaway or delivery arrangements.

Black Salt Grillhouse — Muwaileh
A Muwaileh grillhouse dinner with steak or burger choices
Black Salt Grillhouse at Mansoor building, Muwaileh Commercial, adds a steak-and-burger dinner choice. Its own 13 October 2026 Sharjah post names a rib eye and a burger described as wagyu; its 17 October post describes a cast-iron Saturday evening. These are the operator’s food descriptions, without an independent meat-grade or quality assessment.
The operator-linked exact map gives +971 6 533 3384 and Sunday–Thursday 12:00–midnight, Friday 13:00–01:00 and Saturday 12:00–01:00. Friday and Saturday closing falls after midnight. The menu PDF link was visible but its contents could not be read on 20 October; use the branch for current portions, sides, payable prices and dine-in service.

Kashtat Amina — map lists permanent closure
Kashtat Amina is retained as the original Emirati restaurant at Misk 4, Aljada. On 20 October 2026, its exact Google Maps listing displayed “Permanently closed,” and Eat App’s named Misk 4 page could not accept bookings. The map identity is linked by its public owner update to the restaurant’s original Instagram account. This is an attributed listing status; no operator closure date, reopening or replacement restaurant is established.
Arada’s launch dated 25 June 2025 described chef Mariam Almansoori’s family-recipe concept, breakfast, lunch and dinner, a weekend Emirati brunch, and dishes including balaleet, beetroot harees, madrooba, mastic um ali and luqaimat. That description was read on 17 October; its exact route returned 404 on 20 October. The original social profile and linked hub were also unavailable. Technical failures alone do not prove closure, and those historical dishes are not current availability.

Kashtat Amina profile — closure listing and earlier Emirati dining
Marasea — current status
Sheraton Sharjah’s dining page labels Marasea temporarily closed. Its Asian-influenced shellfish and grilled-fish description remains background for a reopening enquiry, outside the ten current choices. Retained promotions, booking links or another restaurant’s opening hours do not establish Marasea service.
The hotel’s published dining enquiry is +971 56 503 0063. Obtain a dated reopening answer and the actual menu, session and booking conditions before planning a Marasea dinner.
Match the meal to the part of Sharjah you will visit
For a heritage-area visit, compare Arabian Tea House’s Emirati breakfast, Bait Elowal’s separate dining formats, Nomani’s Japanese-Korean menu and Fen’s Al Mureijah café-and-restaurant setting. Aljada offers Berenjak’s Persian sharing dishes. In Muwaileh and Al Zahia, Black Salt and 71 offer different grill-focused choices.
For a group, compare Mahrosah’s Aleppo meals and sweets with Al Dente’s Italian menu or a named Bait Al Mandi branch. Choose the actual dish and portion before comparing price: a menu example, family pizza, private supper club and home-cooking kit represent different purchases.
Settle current service, full charges and dietary preparation with the selected outlet. Marasea needs dated reopening confirmation; Kashtat Amina’s closure listing and unavailable booking route place it outside the current shortlist.
Questions before you choose
Is Marasea currently confirmed open?
No. The reviewed Sheraton Sharjah dining page explicitly marks Marasea temporarily closed. Obtain dated reopening confirmation; retained seafood promotions and booking links do not establish restaurant service.
Is Kashtat Amina permanently closed?
Its exact Misk 4, Aljada Google Maps listing was marked “Permanently closed” on 20 October 2026, and Eat App’s same-address page could not accept bookings. This is an attributed listing status, without an operator closure date or confirmed replacement. The unavailable website, original social profile and linked hub alone would not prove closure.
What dining formats does Bait Elowal publish?
Its official site separates à la carte dining, afternoon tea and the private Al Atlas supper-club experience. Afternoon tea is published daily 14:00–18:00; general opening is 08:00–22:00. Select the actual format and its menu, price and reservation conditions.
Which Sharjah Bait Al Mandi branch should I contact?
Choose Al Khan at +971 6 528 1798, Al Qasimia at +971 6 577 1156, or Al Nahda at +971 6 537 9633. The selected branch must confirm its dishes, portions, hours, seating and any supported delivery address or charges.
Can I assume 71 Steak & Grill’s home products are dine-in meals?
No. Its raw-meat and home-cooking products are separate from the Al Zahia restaurant, and the reviewed restaurant page mentions a DIY burger kit. Request the current served menu, steak cut, portion and price.
Do menu dietary symbols establish suitable preparation?
Check the actual ingredients and accepted preparation with the restaurant. Al Dente’s linked PDF marks chicken Caesar and beef carpaccio with vegetarian symbols, despite the written meat ingredients. A vegetable dish or a dietary-request field elsewhere also does not establish preparation for an individual requirement.
Which choice suits Emirati breakfast and tea?
Arabian Tea House’s Sharjah branch publishes an Emirati breakfast tray, traditional breads, tea and sweets. Bait Elowal offers a separate afternoon-tea format. Their published opening hours do not make every dish available throughout the day.
Which Fen location is included here?
Only Fen Café & Restaurant at Al Mureijah inside Sharjah Art Foundation. Its own site and exact map agree on the branch contact. Gallery opening, a historical visitor-guide menu and dishes promoted at other Fen locations do not establish today’s full meal menu at Al Mureijah.
Does Black Salt’s current food post establish its full menu or prices?
No. Its October Sharjah posts support the operator-described rib eye, wagyu burger and cast-iron dinner identity. The operator-linked full menu PDF could not be read on 20 October. Ask the Muwaileh restaurant for the actual current cut, portion, sides, preparation and payable price.
How we selected these places
We compared food identity, exact Sharjah location, meal formats, branch contacts, meaningful menu examples and current status. Eight original current choices use operator, hotel, branch and Sharjah tourism sources reviewed on 17 October 2026. Kashtat Amina’s exact status, and the two additional Fen and Black Salt identities and current public information, were reviewed on 20 October. Historical material is dated separately. The ten choices are grouped by dining need, rather than a measured quality order or customer-rating score. We have not visited, eaten, contacted the restaurants or tested reservations.
