Regular and Fastbreak pickup

Use the MIA Mover to the level-4 RCC lobby. Budget’s regular counter is across the lobby; Fastbreak pickup and cars are on level 2. Reader boards are on levels 4 and 2; if your name is absent, use the level-2 Fastbreak booth. Returns go to level 2. Published instructions say to record fuel and mileage, leave keys with the unlocked car and go to level 4 to close the contract. The branch lists daily 24-hour opening.

Driver, documents and debit-card holds

MIA’s page sets a minimum age of 21 and a $27 daily surcharge under 25. Debit collection is for renters aged 25 and over in selected car groups. Licensed spouses or partners aged 25 and over have no additional-driver fee under the local summary; other drivers need authorization and their applicable charge. Budget’s US credential guidance asks international renters for the original licence and passport, plus an IDP for non-Roman licences and return-home travel proof outside the US/Canada. Its general hold examples include estimated charges plus up to $200 for Pay at Counter and $250 for Pay Now, alongside lower examples and exceptions. Match the hold, ID and travel-proof requirements to the actual MIA rate and card.

Fuel, mileage, tolls and optional protection

Budget’s rental terms separate self-refilling to the received fuel level, paid refuelling and a prepaid fuel option with no unused-fuel credit. A short-distance flat fuel fee can apply, with receipt rules. The agreement sets mileage allowances and any extra-mile charge. Published standard e-Toll is $6.95 on toll-use days, capped at $34.95 per rental period up to 30 days, plus tolls at the stated non-discounted or cash rate. Unlimited is a separate all-days product. Correctly configured personal-transponder or direct-payment options have their own rules. Damage-waiver products and liability terms are separate from the base price.

Cancellation and a delayed arrival

The current reservation FAQ lists prepaid cancellation charges of $50 outside the final 24 hours and $150 within them; an uncancelled prepaid no-show forfeits prepayment. Certain card-guaranteed non-prepaid bookings have a $75 fee inside 48 hours. Agency bookings follow the original agency’s process. Supply flight details and obtain the vehicle-hold arrangement for a delayed arrival; 24-hour opening alone does not guarantee the reservation is held. Compare the full dated quote with the required extras, airport charges and actual return time.
