The cove and its setting

White pebbles, the sea arch and Monte Caroddi’s limestone pinnacle define this Gulf of Orosei cove. The land approach starts at Su Porteddu on the Golgo plateau. The regional tourism page describes a 300-metre motorboat exclusion by the shore; do not treat a cruise advertisement as permission to land.

Plan the walk and return

Turismo Baunei publishes a 3.5 km route with about 500 metres of elevation change, around 1½ hours down and two hours back. Its reservation notice gives trail entry 07:30–14:00 and beach departure by 17:00, with closed grippy shoes and water required. Obtain the actual date’s booking and trail status; another general route page has a later entry cut-off. Dogs may use the trail but are excluded from the beach.
