The cove and sea approach
Cala Mariolu, also known as Ispuligidenie or Ispùligi de Nie, mixes small pink and white pebbles with sand on Baunei’s Gulf of Orosei coast. Regional tourism describes boat services from Arbatax, Cala Gonone and Santa Maria Navarrese. Snorkelling scenery is part of its appeal; a cruise’s coastal route does not guarantee a landing or current sea conditions.

An expert land route
Baunei’s published Golgo–Piredda route is 6 km, approximately 2 hours 45 minutes, graded EE for experienced walkers, with steep sections, wooden climbing aids and incomplete waymarking. Its return-by-boat option requires advance arrangement. Choose a suitably guided route and a reliable return; published route notes are not a current inspection or confirmation of landing permissions and charges.
