A burger-and-beer bar with its own character

Opened in 2009, Cat Bar is named after the owner’s daughter and explicitly describes a vegan beer and burger bar rather than a cat café. Published tap and bottle lists include Ogham, Cervesa Espiga, Almogaver and Clandestines, with lager, porter, ale and IPA styles. The lists describe the beer programme, rather than guaranteeing every listed drink is in stock today.

Burgers, sandwiches and stated ingredients

The menu lists vegetable, seed-and-walnut, black-bean and spicy burgers, plus cactus and tofu-style sandwiches. A burger with bravas or salad is €13; with both €15.50. The operator says all burger patties contain wheat, soy and gluten and that gluten-free plates are not prepared in a wheat- or gluten-free environment.

Order at the bar and separate the kitchen window

Order and pay at the bar; the biggest table holds eight. The bar is listed 18:00–23:30 and the kitchen starts 18:30. The same homepage gives 22:45 and 22:50 kitchen cutoffs, so food service should not be assumed to run until the bar closes. The published email reaches Cat Bar directly.
