Collection hours and the return dropbox

Take the MIA Mover from terminal level 3 to the RCC level-4 counter, to the left. The current schedule lists 05:00–23:45 daily. For an after-hours return, park in Enterprise’s return area, lock the vehicle and put the keys in the dropbox beside the main entrance. A separate policy sentence mentions a 05:00–midnight shuttle; it does not extend the published pickup schedule or replace the current MIA Mover route.

Age, licence, payment and additional drivers

The MIA policy sets a minimum age of 21. Ages 21–24 carry a $25 daily surcharge and a restricted selection: economy through full-size cars, cargo/minivans, pickups and compact, small or standard SUVs seating up to five.

Bring the original valid photo licence; digital licences are not accepted. A non-Latin licence requires an IDP or, where the policy permits, a professional translation alongside the original. International renters may also need passport and travel documents. Debit pickup requires a ticketed return itinerary and matching home address, with a military-address exception. Only a spouse or domestic partner can be an additional driver on a debit-secured rental.

Without a return itinerary, use an accepted credit card; the policy specifies a $400 deposit or $850 for listed premium classes in addition to rental charges and coverage-proof requirements for certain luxury groups. Use the class-specific policy for the complete conditions. A spouse or domestic partner meeting the renter’s age and licence requirements is fee-exempt; other authorized drivers must appear at rental and ordinarily add $15 per day unless another contract applies.

Flight delays, fuel, mileage and cancellations

Enterprise’s US airport delayed-flight policy keeps a reservation valid for 24 hours from scheduled pickup and allows up to two hours past closing when valid flight information has been added. Fuel can be returned at the received level, prepaid without unused-fuel refund, or replaced by the company at a higher price than local fuel. Most US car classes have unlimited mileage; large or specialty vehicles can have limits, and one-way rentals can carry a separate fee. For North American website/app bookings, non-prepaid cancellation has no fee; US prepaid cancellation is $50 more than 24 hours ahead, $100 within 24 hours and $100 for a prepaid no-show. Third-party bookings must be cancelled with that provider.

Tolls, protection and the agreement

The regional TollPass page gives a $4.95 use-day convenience charge, capped at $34.65 plus tolls, but its coverage wording is inconsistent with the Florida heading or branch link. Obtain the local Florida product and covered roads before using it. Damage Waiver (DW) is optional and is not insurance; waiver exclusions and optional liability protection have separate terms. Compare the chosen protection with your existing arrangements and include selected extras, taxes and airport charges in the rental total.
