Contemporary Italian cooking above the Spanish Steps
Imàgo’s operator describes a redesigned room that brings dining and kitchen closer together, with views across Rome from the sixth floor. The retained photograph shows the earlier room; agree current seating with the restaurant.
The linked 2026–2027 menu separates new-season ERROR 16 from CLASSIC 16. Published examples include pumpkin with lobster and pasta with mantis shrimp in the seasonal route, and dishes drawn from earlier seasons in the classic route. One MICHELIN star is recorded for the 2026 edition.

Agree one menu and the full bill
Both current routes are €230 per person, excluding beverages. The booking page requires the same menu for all diners and says its discretionary service charge is calculated separately and charged with the customer’s acceptance. Its older 15 menu labels should not replace the currently linked 16 menu.
Mild allergies or intolerances can be discussed, but severe needs may not be accommodated and cross-contamination cannot be excluded. Men need long trousers and closed shoes. The page excludes pets and describes the tasting format as applying to children too.

Keep the cancellation and arrival details together
A card guarantee is required. Changes or cancellation are penalty-free up to 48 hours before the event; later cancellation, no-show or unnotified reduction in guests can incur €230 per person. The page says changes/cancellations are valid by email to imago@hotelhassler.it; parties over four should email.
The homepage gives Tuesday–Saturday entry 19:00–20:30, while the booking text also says last entrance 20:45. It uses both fromeight and aboveeight for children. Confirm those exact boundaries. A 3–20 January 2027 inclusive closure is published; no table availability is inferred from an open website.

Planning questions
Can guests choose different Imàgo tasting menus?
The booking page requires the same tasting choice for the whole table, with dietary needs discussed beforehand.
Is the late-cancellation charge the same as a dinner quote?
Both are currently stated as €230 per person, but they have different meanings. Dinner excludes beverages and has separate discretionary service; the penalty applies under the 48-hour/no-show/guest-reduction terms.
