Syrrako Kalarrites Path

A historic connection in North Tzoumerka

The villages face each other across a steep ravine, with stone houses and slate roofs. Visit Greece identifies the historic Syrrako–Kalarrytes trail; the route adds a Tzoumerka village-and-gorge outing to an itinerary otherwise centred on Zagori. A direct connector does not automatically include every waterfall or mill detour.

The longer Trekking Hellas circuit

The operator’s twelve-kilometre/six-and-a-half-hour product meets at Kalarrytes village entrance, visits waterfalls and Quiassa mill, reaches Syrrako and returns through the gorge. Published requirements are age over six, basic fitness and at least four participants; the listed €60 per person applies to that minimum group and includes an English-speaking guide, taxes and liability insurance. Transport and anything unlisted are not established as included. Treat bathing/drinking-water promotion as descriptive, not a water-safety assessment.
