Best Restaurants in Al Ain (2026)
Where should you eat in Al Ain?
Choose Al Fanar for Emirati food in a nostalgic family setting, Min Zaman for Lebanese dinner indoors or on a poolside terrace, and Gazebo for a biryani-led Indian meal at Bawadi Mall.

How to use this shortlist
These nine Al Ain dining choices are grouped by cuisine, setting and meal format. The Farmer’s Table at Emirates Bio Farm and Tanjore at Danat remain separately below: the farm restaurant carries a seasonal closure notice without a dated return, while Tanjore’s current service is unconfirmed. Al Mallah’s retained Al Jimi name is a legacy directory label; the location evidence and current restaurant menu point to Jabal Roundabout in Al Muwaiji. Branch menus, kitchen times and complete party bills vary. The cover is an editorial illustration.

Best for Emirati and Levantine meals
-
Al Fanar Restaurant & Café Al Ain
Emirati food and a nostalgic family setting
The Al Ain branch near Souq Al Zafarana and Al Khabisi Wedding Hall uses a nostalgic 1960s setting. The brand’s food examples include machboos, jesheed, seafood trays, luqaimat and karak; its branch-specific dishes need the current Al Ain menu. Group set menus and private areas are offered for gatherings.
The Al Ain page gives 09:00 opening but conflicts on closing: 21:00 in the main section and 22:00 in its FAQ. Call the branch for the intended dinner session. The brand identifies free parking at its Al Ain standalone branch.

Min Zaman Terrace at Al Ain Rotana
Lebanese dinner with indoor or poolside terrace seating
The hotel describes Lebanese and Arabic dinner food including mezze, charcoal-grilled meats, seafood and Arabic desserts. Guests can choose an indoor lounge or poolside terrace at the hotel on Zayed Bin Sultan Street.
The operator lists daily dinner hours 17:00–03:00. Its named singer listing prints 20:30–23:30, daily except Sundays, but also marks the programme to be confirmed. Match entertainment to the actual booking. The page gives +971 3 703 1079 under Plan Your Visit and +971 3 703 1071 in its restaurant offers, with minzaman.alain@rotana.com.

Solidaire Restaurant & Café Al Jimi Mall
Levantine food with convenient Al Jimi Mall access
The mall identifies Solidaire as a Levantine restaurant on the ground floor near West Parking. The brand’s published menu illustrates hummus, labneh, halloumi and eggs; the restaurant’s current Al Jimi menu governs the dishes and prices for an order.
The outlet listing gives Sunday–Thursday 10:00–22:00 and Friday–Saturday 10:00–00:00, with phone +971 3 766 2800. Those restaurant hours are distinct from the separate Eid-hours banner and from the brand website’s general delivery contact.

-
Al Mallah Restaurant Al Jimi
Lebanese grills, shawarma and breakfast around Jabal Roundabout
Al Mallah offers Lebanese and Arabic breakfast, mezze, shawarma and grills at the Jabal Roundabout location. Its restaurant-published August 2026 menu also includes soups, seafood, kebbeh, pastries, mana’ish, salads, sandwiches, steaks and pizza. Choose the actual dish and portion; the menu’s VAT inclusion does not make an individual item a complete group bill.
The original Al Jimi directory listing’s map destination matches the current ALMALLAH Restaurant & Grills at Jabal Roundabout. The restaurant’s current printed menu says Al Muwaiji, Al Ain and gives +971 3 755 9928 and +971 3 755 9938; the current map agrees on the first number. The retained Al Jimi name is a legacy directory label for this location. The original directory’s +971 3 766 9655 and its closing time differ from current information; settle the intended service with the restaurant.

-

The branch page identifies India Palace Al Ain on Salahuddeen Al Ayyubi Street, Central District, Hai Al Salama, with +971 3 766 6545. Its brand concept draws on North-West Frontier and Mughal food traditions; the published menu highlights biryanis, kebabs, curries and breads.

Best for a seafood-and-grills mall meal
-
Bu Tafish Seafood & Grills Al Ain
Seafood and grills during a Bawadi Mall meal
Bu Tafish’s Al Ain outlet is at Bawadi Mall, with phone +971 3 784 0471. The mall describes the brand’s Abu Dhabi origins in 1968. For a fish order, establish the species, portion or weight basis, preparation, accompaniments and complete price with the restaurant.
For internationally varied hotel dining
-
Arabesque Restaurant at Danat Al Ain Resort
A varied hotel meal with international and regional choices
Arabesque Restaurant at Danat Al Ain Resort is the international buffet and all-day dining choice. The hotel publishes breakfast 06:30–10:30, lunch 12:30–15:30 and dinner 18:30–22:30, with regional and global food. Arabesque Café is a separate Arabic outlet with its own menu and service times.
The restaurant’s distinct digital menu lists salads, soups, sandwiches, Italian dishes, mains, sides and desserts. Current examples include Oriental mix grill, grilled chicken, fish and prawns, lamb dishes, curries, biryanis and vegetable choices, plus Margherita, Vegetariana, beef-salami and seafood pizzas. Digital item prices state applicable service charges and taxes included; they are separate from buffet or event packages. Some meat dishes carry contradictory V symbols, so establish the actual ingredients and accepted preparation rather than relying on that symbol.
Use the hotel’s general +971 3 704 6000 contact and specify Arabesque Restaurant, the meal session and chosen buffet or menu format. Seating, inclusions, portions, complete charges and resort-facility access have their own conditions.

The Farmer's Table at Emirates Bio Farm — current status
Emirates Bio Farm describes a seasonal restaurant using its own produce, with breakfast, salads, hot vegetarian dishes, brick-oven breads, pickles and jams. It advertises vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The farm FAQ places Al Shuwaib between Dubai and Al Ain; it is a separate trip from central-city dining.
The restaurant page carries a summer-closure notice saying November without a reopening year or date. General farm opening and grocery delivery do not settle restaurant service. The farm FAQ calls for online tickets to guarantee farm access and describes no direct public transport. Confirm restaurant service before planning that trip.

Tanjore — current service unconfirmed
Tanjore is retained as the Indian restaurant historically described at Danat Al Ain Resort. The official Abu Dhabi and Al Ain tourism pages describe tandoori cooking, kebabs, biryani, curries and Indian desserts, with the hotel contact +971 3 704 6000. Those undated descriptions establish the restaurant’s published identity, rather than today’s dish availability.
On 20 October 2026, Danat’s current dining collection and branded digital dining directory did not list Tanjore. They list Arabesque Restaurant and a separate Arabesque Café among other outlets. This leaves Tanjore service unconfirmed; omission does not establish permanent closure, a replacement or conversion into Arabesque. Obtain a dated answer from the hotel before planning a Tanjore meal.

Match the meal to your day in Al Ain
For an Emirati meal with family, start with Al Fanar; Min Zaman suits a Lebanese evening indoors or on a terrace. Solidaire and Al Mallah offer different Levantine or Arabic meals, with Al Mallah’s current location and contacts explained above. Arabesque Restaurant adds internationally varied hotel dining after choosing the actual buffet session or separate menu format.
For a mall visit, choose the cuisine: Solidaire at Al Jimi Mall, or Coriander, Gazebo and Bu Tafish at Bawadi Mall. Coriander’s regional Indian spread, Gazebo’s biryani emphasis and India Palace’s North-West Frontier/Mughal influences offer different starting points. Mall opening alone does not settle a restaurant’s kitchen service.
Set the actual branch, dishes, portions, party size, complete charges and accepted dietary preparation before agreeing to a meal. Confirm Al Fanar’s closing time and any Min Zaman performance for the date. The Farmer’s Table needs a dated restaurant reopening answer; Tanjore needs confirmation of its own current service.
Questions before you choose
What time does Al Fanar Al Ain close?
Its operator page gives 09:00 opening, but 21:00 closing in the main section and 22:00 in the FAQ. Neither closing time is treated as settled. Confirm the actual dinner session with the Al Ain branch.
Is The Farmer’s Table currently open?
The reviewed restaurant page says closed for summer and returning in November, without a year-specific reopening date. General farm opening, grocery delivery and access tickets do not establish restaurant service. Emirates Bio Farm is in Al Shuwaib between Dubai and Al Ain, a separate trip from central-city dining.
Is Tanjore at Danat Al Ain currently operating?
Its current service is unconfirmed. Official tourism pages retain Tanjore’s Indian-food description and hotel contact, but Danat’s current dining collection and digital directory omit it. That omission is not a closure or conversion announcement. Obtain a dated hotel answer about Tanjore itself.
Which Al Mallah location does the retained Al Jimi listing refer to?
The original directory’s map destination matches the current restaurant at Jabal Roundabout. The restaurant-published August 2026 menu says Al Muwaiji, Al Ain and prints +971 3 755 9928 and +971 3 755 9938; the current map agrees on the first number. Al Jimi remains a legacy directory label. No relocation is inferred, and the original directory phone or an unrelated Dubai website is not treated as this location’s current contact.
Does Min Zaman dinner guarantee entertainment?
No. Its operator prints a 20:30–23:30 singer programme, daily except Sundays, but also marks it to be confirmed. Dinner is separately listed daily 17:00–03:00. Confirm any performance for the intended date.
Which Bawadi Mall dining identities are established?
The mall owner’s exact listings identify Coriander for regional Indian food at +971 3 784 0500, Bu Tafish Seafood & Grills at +971 3 784 0471, and Gazebo for Dum Pukht biryani, kababs and curries at +971 3 733 4589. Mall hours do not establish each kitchen’s service or today’s full menu.
Is Arabesque Restaurant the same as Arabesque Café or Tanjore?
No such identity is established. Danat lists Arabesque Restaurant and Arabesque Café as distinct outlets with separate digital menus. The restaurant has international buffet meal sessions and a separate item menu. No evidence establishes that Tanjore converted into either outlet.
Do menu dietary symbols guarantee suitable ingredients?
Establish the actual ingredients and accepted preparation with the chosen restaurant. Arabesque’s digital menu puts V symbols beside some chicken or lamb dishes despite the written meat ingredients. Farm vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options, and vegetable dishes elsewhere, also do not certify an entire menu or an individual preparation.
How we selected these places
We compared exact Al Ain identities, food, locations, settings and meal formats. The eight unchanged original profiles draw on operator, hotel, mall-owner and tourism information reviewed on 17 October 2026. Tanjore’s conflicting tourism and hotel listings, Al Mallah’s original map destination and current restaurant-published menu, and Arabesque Restaurant’s hotel and digital-menu information were reviewed on 20 October. Historical descriptions and undated notices are qualified separately. The nine dining choices are grouped by need, rather than a measured quality order or customer-rating score. We have not visited, eaten at, contacted these restaurants or tested reservations.
